As a car dealer, we recognize our responsibility for climate change. Since 2018, we have lifted sustainability as one of four strategic focus areas in the Frydenbo Group. Through the UN sustainability goals, we work to contribute to sustainable development and social responsibility, with the goal of eradicating poverty, combating inequality and stopping climate change by 2030. We are conscious of the role of business in achieving these goals and will continue our targeted efforts to increase our contribution.
We work actively to ensure that both human rights and decent working conditions are safeguarded, both in our own business and in our supply chain. Through regular due diligence assessments, we monitor our processes to identify and prevent risks that may affect people and the environment. The increased use of resources from a growing and richer population affects climate and the environment. In order to create sustainable development, climate change must be stopped and it starts with us. We work closely with partners, importers and suppliers to reduce our emissions. All our departments are Eco-Lighthouse certified, which means that we are constantly working to reduce our climate footprint. In 2020, we delivered our first climate account, which is available on Klimahub.no. This shows the development of our emissions and the measures we have taken to reduce our climate footprint.
